The crisp, clean and silky Ikana

This week’s Something Sunday features a more adult drink. Ikana is a crowd pleasing wine you can extract from Put A Cork In It, located along the canal in Bricktown. We interviewed the owner, Andrea Griggs, in our first episode. Although if you visit them now, you’ll see that the place has been remodeled a bit since our visit. I personally severed Ikana at the Uncovering Oklahoma preview party and it was a favorite among my guests.

Now, I’m not a fancy wine connoisseur, so I’ll just share Andrea’s description of their Ikana Rielsing. “Crisp, clean and silky in texture this off-dry Riesling has a golden hue and a floral aroma. It has hints of apple and peach and is delightfully refreshing.” Try a sample for yourself at Put A Cork In It. If you like it, buy a bottle. I heard there’s this romantic holiday coming up pretty soon, so this wine might be great for that day.
