I have a pile of materiel to post to the site that’s been stacking up because I’ve been sick. Let’s get started, shall?

First, the Oklahoma City Date Guide got a much needed update. Though, I won’t stop there. I have some other suggestions for dates coming soon in the form of events.

The first one I’m going to mention is the Carnality Ball’s fourth annual celebration, Pandora’s Box, which is tomorrow starting at seven p.m. until one a.m. Guests of Pandora’s Box will be treated to sensory enchantment via aural and visual performances by some of Oklahoma’s most sought after dancers, musicians, designers, and more on the main level, Mount Olympus. Our bottom level, The Underworld, will boast an exciting array of vendors, talented artists, and maybe a glimpse of Hades himself. The third and uppermost level, overlooking the glorious Mount Olympus, is reserved for the VIP Lounge, where the most elite of Olympians will congregate. You can visit carnalityball.com for more details.

Then on next Saturday the Allied Arts presents their ARTini event, which is a martini tasting with an art auction targeted toward young professionals. ARTini features 11 top-notch restaurants serving original martinis that are based on this year’s theme, ARTini Time. Of course, all of the proceeds benefit Allied Arts. ARTini tickets are $65 in advance and $75 at the door and dress is “urban chic.” Must be 21+ to enter. To purchase tickets, visit www.alliedartini.com, call Allied Arts at (405) 278-8944 or stop by the organization’s office at 1015 N. Broadway, Suite 200 in Oklahoma City. Visit their web site at alliedartini.com for more details.

The Oklahoma City Museum Of Art has started it’s Cocktails on the Skyline Roof Terrace where after 5pm, it’s only $5 to get inside every Thursday night. Right now they they’re running the Sketch to Screen: The Art of Hollywood Costume Design exhibit. The OKAMOA does have food too! Here’s the part where I say, for more information, visit their web site.

There, that should keep you kids busy. I still have more updates to unload, including our interview with the improv troupe, Crayons, and actually listing all of the troupes we’ve featured in our talent archive.
