The details in a restaurant are dead give away about what kind of experience you will have.

I found that to be true recently when I visit Samurai, a small sushi place in the OKC Asian District.
It’s one of these places when you go when everything else is closed or too crowded or even worst- overpriced.

Fear not, Samurai turned out to be an excellent choice.

In the era where even sushi restaurants have drive through while blasting “G6” on the stereo – is not easy to find a place that carries an authentic Japanese vibe…that is until you visit Samurai.

In addition to 50 sushi rolls, the small restaurant, it seats 25 people, offers appetizers, soups, meal combos and the list goes on and on.

The Uncovering Oklahoma team suggests you start out the evening with avocado rolls, move on to spicy salmon and top off your dinner with Philadelphia rolls.

Or you can let your imagination loose and get a sampler plate and eat as much sushi as you can! Whatever choice you make at Samurai, it will be a five star treat!

Happy sushi eating!
