The Last Days of Judas Iscariot
It’s time for a performing arts Question and Answer session with Ghostlight Theatre Club (3110 N. Walker Avenue in Oklahoma City) on their latest production, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot.

What is Last Days about?
The story concerns the defense trial of Judas Iscariot the result of which will be eternal damnation or forgiveness. Ultimately it’s a tale about choices and consequences.
Why should one see it?
Aside from having some of the best actors in the metro area on stage, people should see this play for its originality, quality of writing, and controversial subject matter. It takes a very unique approach to telling a story that most people think they know fully.
What scenes do the actors enjoy?
I think every actor involved probably has a different favorite scene but the one with Judas and Jesus seems to get the most reaction. Everyone backstage watches this scene via the monitors just to see it one more time.
What makes Ghostlight’s version special?
The director’s vision. Simply put the creativity of the people involved in putting the show together is guided by one person and Rosemary masterfully led everyone to the same place. That place will never be on another stage with another group of people.

What was the most challenging aspect in putting together the production?
Dealing with a cast of 17 people!! For Ghostlight it is the largest cast we’ve dealt with and that brings about schedule conflicts. Add on top of that SNOW DAYS and we were pressed to get in the necessary rehearsal time. However, due to the professionalism of everyone involved, the show came together beautifully!
Any other comments?
This show can’t be summed up in a few witty comments or even a few brief paragraphs. It simply is one of those plays that must be seen to be appreciated.
