On Saturday, 405 Brewing Co. opened their doors as Norman’s first and only production brewery with the mission to share craft beer with the local community. As a result of Senate Bill 424 being approved by Gov. Mary Fallin in 2016, founders Jonathan Stapleton and Trae Carson worked on opening up their brewery to the public.

Some of 405’s popular beers are their FDR, an Imperial Stout brewed with four chocolate malts and 30 lbs of locally roasted coffee; the GFS (GRAPEFRUIT SOUR), a kettle soured and brewed with grapefruits; and the TRAE P.A., a tropical funky brett style pale ale.
