Shopping Guide to Midtown OKC 2018

With the holidays approaching, here’s part one of my shop local gift guide series. For today’s shopping guide, I’m highlighting Oklahoma City’s Midtown District. From each business, I captured a photo to showcase a sample of what they offer, and at the same time, inspire some gift ideas. I’ve also included Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday deals. Be sure to check back on this article this weekend for any updates on the deals as there may be additions/changes.

Barkeep Supply is a new bussines in Midtown this year. They’re a cocktail supply shop specializing in bar tools, drinkware, ingredients, and accessories. Come stock your bar or find the perfect gift and while you shop, enjoy a cocktail. Also, be sure to check out their custom gift boxes.

If you’re searching for cards to give, make a visit to Chirps & Cheers. I’ve been told that one of the other things people love there is their pen section, which has been described as “candy shop of pens” because of the a varities of pens in every color.

Commonplace Books is a bookstore “for people who want to lead meaningful, thoughtful lives and a flourishing life of the mind.” If you need a quality recommendation for a book, stop by and see them. For my photo on them this year, we staged this picture with several popular childrens books they carry.

Be sure to visit their new kitchen for a meal or visit the Koren BBQ in a bowl, GOGi Go, right next door.

Did you know that Jerky.com also have gift boxes in addation to their jerky? They have all sorts of different themes for their gift packages. Of course, their jerky by itself is a great gift. I personally wouldn’t mind it give someone gave me some of their Bacon Sriracha Jerky.
