Pinkitzel is a fun, fairy tale cupcake cafe, candy boutique, and gift store that wows people when they first enter with its vibrant mix of eclectic and sweet.

“We are probably most famous for our candy selection,” owner Cher Casso said. “We have a great cupcake selection too, but really I think people just love to come and hang out here.”

The path to the creation of Pinkitzel all started when Cher become friends with a young couple, Christa and Jonathan Jantz. Cher knew she wanted to be in business with as they, “were a really unique couple just oozing with creativity.” Cher explained that Christa had always wanted to have a candy store since she was a young girl. With the three of them as friends, the creation of their special place soon fell into place. Once they found their location in Bricktown, the idea of cupcakes and gifts came about.

The name of the store was created by Jonathan about 10 years ago. Pinkitzel is a play on two words, pink and kitzel — which means “tickle” in Yiddish.

“[Pinkitzel] is an experience everyone needs to try,” Cher said. “Enjoy the atmosphere and all of the fun sweets that we have.”
