Tucked away on 51st near Western Ave is the 51st Speakeasy, home to the weekly stand-up comedy showcase, Thursday’s Don’t Suck.

Originally held on the last Sunday of every month at Maker’s Straight Up, the Kabaret Falschtanz put on a show of dance, comedy, music, and theatre that’s sexy and a little bit naughty. Jessica Alcorn interviewed director Lynna Schneider along with other members of Kabaret Falschtanz.

Mister Rabbit used to feature unique items where everything – wall decorations, clothes, furniture, lamps – are for sale. “Whether Queen or Caterpillar, Hatter or Hare,” Keri said on her web site, “I invite you to experience our ‘wonderland of one-of-a-kind finds’ where I’m sure we have a ‘find’ for you!”
