Oklahoma City company Junk Hippy plans a winter shopping event featuring 300 vendors, artists, and makers from Oklahoma and surrounding states which will spotlight OKC’s midcentury group Okie Mod Squad. This one-day, indoor event is scheduled for Saturday, December 1 from 9-5 inside Heritage Place located at SW 29th and MacArthur. The event is sponsored by Webb Group Real Estate in Norman.

Junk Hippy was created in March of 2012 by Kristen and Shawn Grandi. It remains a family owned and operated business and has been named a top vintage event by both Flea Market Style Magazine and Country Living Magazine.

Okie Mod Squad is a group based out of Oklahoma City led by Lynn Rostochil. A mecca for midcentury décor, architecture, culture and design, the Mod Squad is joining Junk Hippy at the winter event with several members selling midcentury furniture and décor.

The Oklahoma City Junk Hippy show brings you everything from vintage furniture and décor, shabby chic, farmhouse, industrial, retro, vintage holiday décor and handmade goods.

Junk Hippy runs Saturday, December 1 from 9-5. Heritage Place is located at 2829 S. MacArthur in Oklahoma City. Admission is $5 at the door, kids 13 and under are free. Updates and show information are available at www.junkhippy.com as well as Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.
