As the name of the restaurant implies, Scratch Kitchen & Cocktails (132 W. Main, Norman) creates their food and signature cocktail selections from scratch. All of their sandwiches are served with house-baked bread with options such as whole wheat hoagies, potato buns, and sourdough.
One can easily taste that Scratch does not skip on quality and the selections are anything but boring. For proof, try Scratch on the weekend for brunch. With unique items as rum and cinnamon brioche french toast, lemon scented poppy seed pancakes, or poached shrimp cocktails you’re sure to find a new favorite.
With the passion for quality, their prices are fair too with sandwiches around $10, entrees in the $10 to $20 range, and red meats around $25.
Vegans, vegetarians, meat-lovers, and those that are gluten sensitive fret not: Scratch’s menu has something for everyone.
A helpful warning: Scratch’s “Sides” are meals in themselves and are best shared.
