Totally Fried Booth at State Fair
There’s a great deal of food at the Oklahoma State Fair this year with over 20 new items to the Fair Food line-up and if you are into delicious deep-fried, chocolate-covered or on-a-stick treats, then there’s only one place to be September 15th through the 25th. I’ve rounded up 16 foods for you to try this year, focusing on the new foods with some classics included.

Chef Rays Street Eats's Nashville Hot Fried Chicken
For something HOT, stop at Chef Rays Street Eats for their Nashville Hot Fried Chicken is deep-fried and rolled in a hot Nashville wing sauce that will make your taste buds sweat. As usual from my experiences with Chef Rays, their chicken is delicious.

Big Daddy’s Italian Eatery's Baked Ziti Noodle
The State Fair does have pasta too! Big Daddy’s Italian Eatery has a ziti noodle dish with mozzarella and ricotta cheese and a red sauce.

Red Beans and Rice Gumbo from La Gumbo Ya Ya
Also breaking the nom for fair food is the Red Beans and Rice Gumbo from La Gumbo Ya Ya.

Everything is bigger at the fair and this gaint sized shaved ice treat can be found at Snow S’more.

Asian Bulgogi Crepe from Coco Flow
Asian Bulgogi Crepe is a savory crepe topped with beef ribeye cooked in a very thin pancake can only be found at Coco Flow Chocolate Shoppe’s second location inside the Oklahoma Expo Hall building.

German Roasted Nuts
Pairing next to Coco Flow in the Oklahoma Expo Hall, stop by German Roasted Nuts. They’ve been at the State Fair for over 15 years!

Wine at the Oklahoma Expo Hall
Since you’re still in the Oklahoma Expo Hall, get some Oklahoma wine to drink. Might as well, you know.

Cannoli at The Gingerbread House
The Gingerbread House has brought an Italian favorite – the Cannoli – with them this year.

Sirloin on a Stick
In the meat-on-a-stick category, Sirloin on a Stick can be found at Porkchops on a Stick.

Cinnamon Rolls from the Sweet Shop
The Sweet Shop has outdone themselves with two new cinnamon rolls. On the left is the Oreo Cinnamon Roll, which is an Oreo infused, and covered, Cinnamon Roll. The other new roll is the Pineapple Upside Down Cake Cinnamon Roll.

WonderStick
The J-shaped cone at WonderStick Ice Cream is unique in its shape, making it easier to eat without potential drips. The cone is gluten free, thick and crunchy, and doesn’t get soggy as the ice cream melts. The cone comes in two flavors: plain and cinnamon. This guy was kind enough to let me take his picture before he enjoyed it.

Giant Curly Fries
One final thing for the giant category: Giant Curly Fries. You may want to split that with a group of friends.

The app is great to guide you to various places. I personally used it to track down all of the new food for this article.
