The Plaza District Festival is a celebration of all things local. The 16th Street Plaza District is a neighborhood commercial district boasting Oklahoma City’s creative, local flavor. Located on NW 16th Street between Classen and Penn Ave, the Plaza District is home to galleries, studios, retail shops, restaurants, performance venues and creative services. The festival is similar to the monthly LIVE on the Plaza event but bigger as the street is closed to allow room for vendors.

I was there for most of it Saturday, taking pictures and video of the festival. Here are my 16 favorites photos from this year’s event.

Be sure to go see the new murals at the Plaza Walls for yourself. I’ll let you on a little secret: The Plaza Walls is working on putting together a book documenting the history of the walls and the artists now that the Plaza Walls is officially a non-profit group.
