TwentyFive by KALA

“Twentyfive” is a song I started writing in October of 2019 shortly after my oldest brother, Nathan, passed away from an accidental drug overdose at the age of 24. This song is definitely the most important one to me out of all of them, and it really helped me heal slowly and still does every time I sing it. It explains my point of view of not being able to go see him in his last days in the hospital, and only hearing about his condition from what my family was updating me with. It also touches on my regrets, and forgiveness. If you or someone you love is struggling with drug addiction just know there is hope, and resources, and I hope you can someday recover. There’s so much more I could say about this song but, I’m just gonna keep it at that for now. Rest Easy, big brother.

Miss Macy by Pabu

Miss Macy is a fan-favorite and our first music video – directed by the awesome Liliana Campon – featuring slick bass lines, enticing guitar tones, and grooves that make you move. Just listen through and tell me that chorus doesn’t get stuck in your head! We had a lot of fun recording and working with Liliana – rather than creating some sort of visual narrative, we wanted the video to be more a reflection of who we were as a band at that time (May), especially with the state of live music being what it was/is. Enjoy!
